Christian Sainsard and his team welcome you in this 17th century restaurant, located in the heart of the Mouffetard district. Original beams and vaults have been kept in this “old Paris” decor, close to the Pantheon.
The cuisine of the young chef Jean-Christophe Rizet (trained by the famous chef Lameloise) is full of creative flavours with a touch from the South West. On the menu, cream of lentils with crawfish, cream of soft-boiled eggs with smoked garlic, roasted sea bass, onions fricassee, chestnuts and Alsatian bacon, assorted first class chocolates. The wine list is unique (2.400 references) including prestigious wines. A foreign wine list is also available.
A five course tasting menu “accords mets vins” is available for the whole table at 172 €/persona with matching wines suggested by the sommelier. Another 55€ tasting menu is offered and there is a 80 € business lunch, wines included.
