An absolute must close to Les Invalides, Avenue des Champs-Elysées and Place de la Concorde, in the 8th district of Paris

This is an excellent gourmet establishment that proudly displays its two Michelin stars. It was in 1942 that René Lasserre purchased a small bistro built for the Universal Exhibition in 1937. With the passion of one man, Lasserre quickly became one of the leading venues in Paris. The regulars included André Malraux who made a particularly strong mark, as is shown by the famous "pigeon André Malraux", which is still featured on the menu. The dining room is a meticulously designed stage for the elegant ballet of waiters that is topped off by the starry sky above, as seen through the famous sliding roof adorned with paintings by Touchagues. A pianist provides evening entertainment from 9.00 pm onwards. The private rooms on the ground floor, whose decoration is inspired by the 18th century, are modular and can seat up to 45.
